Aha, I've got you now Serban. Obama taking a play from Ron Paul and asking Congress to merge 6 agencies resulting in the loss of 2000 jobs. What do you got to say about that? (I kid, hence the title Kobayashi Maru. You don't need to defend this I just thought it was interesting.)

I never argued against consolitation of waste and duplication, only against blanket shutting down of departments. When I hear a candidate mention they want to shut down the EPA, that to me is very bad because there is no one else that would do that job and all I hear is "we want to pump more oil, lets close those who regulate it".

To Ron's defense, after speaking with you, it does seem like he wants to also consolidate duplication and waste, as opposed to simply shut down shit without thought just because they feel it's politically beneficial (e.g. Look at Perry. What an ass covered in oil!). Although, even Ron said he wants to axe the entire department of education, which I oppose. But at least he does it because he believes that will help the nation, unlike say Perry, who does it because it will help his pocket.


*Edit* Wow, I sound like I really hate Perry.. Hmm, I guess I do! What an asshole!
