probably because they are the only real "good guys" in 40k, all other chapters have a "dark past" that makes them not so pc, but the goody 2 shoes ultra boys dont do anything to offend peoples delicate sensitivities! have you rread the uriel ventrius books, hes friggin captain america, or should i say captain imperium!

Salamanders>Ultrasmurfs. You can't tell me they have a "dark past." Hell they're more proletariat than any other Chapter seeing as they are the only chapter that actually lives among the human population of their home world. They're just a smaller chapter is all. Stupid smurfs.
