As we come to the time of year where it is widely believed that the walls that divide the living form the dead come falling down, I like to take time to reflect on those that have gone on before us.
Halloween is not just for candy and scaring little kids, it is a time to rejoice in the fact that we are all still here. It is a time to sit back and remeber lost loved ones.
Tonight , take a few minutes and push the candy to the side. Put down the drink and remember the relatives, friends and those we have just heard of, that we have lost.Wether they have been gone for years or just a few days, tonight invite them back.Tell them how much you miss them. Bring them up to date on what's happening. Remind them that they are still a part of you and everything that you do.Share the old stories. Thank them.
At my house we will be inviting many from our past, and we wish to invite the ones from our present also. Come trick or treat with us and share some cider , share some stories. ( The kids M&M's are mine)
Can't make it and still want to share a story- call us, we'd love to hear it.
