It says based, so they are going to take some liberties. But either way, I am still excited. This is a great year for Sci Fi Movies.

Not counting Return of the Jedi, has Harrison ford been in a bad movie? If they don't ruin it with cgi, how bad can it be.

If Return of the Jedi is your standard for a bad movie, then yes, Harrison Ford has been in plenty of movies worse than Return of the Jedi.

In fact, I'd say 42 is the only good movie he's been in for a long time. I think the issue has been Ford has had trouble coming to terms with his age. He's over seventy but just kept doing the same roles he's always done. 42 is the first movie I've seen him take a role for his age. That said, he completely stole the show as Branch Rickey in that movie, even overshadowing Chadwick Boseman as Jackie Robinson. So long as his role is that of mentor and not action hero, he'll likely be great.

You're the one that went with Return of the Jedi as Ford's "bad movie." If you had gone with Temple of Doom I would have let it slide.

Last movie I saw. I can't recall any of those chick flicks you pointed out.
