Star Wars Armada

I've been curious about the X-Wing miniatures game for a while, but never really got motivated enough. I like my games larger scale I suppose. It's part of the reason War Machine and Warmahordes just don't appeal to me over Warhammer and 40k. Well watch out, because star wars minis are getting much larger scale:

I wonder how close it is to Attack Wing?

Looks similar, but since it won't be out until next year, it's hard to know.

Tom call Armada "Epic 40K for Starwars". Also, sounds like it shares a lot of similarities to X-Wing.

Also, a shot of X-Com the board game. Woot!

XCOM looks more like the overall arching world scene rather than the turn based combat that we all love.

Review of Armada at Gencon 14, 4 days ago.

How do the rebels ever win...

XCom looks like a complex snooze. I saw the models, but I did not see them used. So sad.

I'm not gonna pick this one up. I have a huge fleet for x wing and attack wing. Both are great games. And with what little time I have to play it seems like a waste of money. By the way if anyone is interested in play the other 2 systems let me know. Even if I can't make a game your welcome to borrow my fleets so you can play.
