Cloverfield

I quite enjoyed this movie, the Blair Witch Project style of filming worked quite well for this. Lots of guns and stupid civilians. "But no, I want to go this way towards the monster. Yes, yes I know even the army is going the other direction now, but I am still going. I did not get a chance to tell her I love her."

The military action scenes are pretty bad ass, but I just want to say you can not fire a shoulder mounted rocket system with your fellow troopies behind you. Once again, this movie is also a case point for a higher caliber rifle.

Closing Comment: Worth seeing in the theater

In the Name of the King

What do I got to say about this movie, it tried so hard. It really did want to be a good movie. Had some decent fight scenes but the movie did not see to have a very original plot, and could be easily predicted.

At times I thought it was a parody of other fantasyt movies which made me laugh. Do not go into this movie expecting a good movie, think "B" movie with a "A" list actors.
