report from Summer Allthing

Post by Stroganoff »

HI

Weather was rainy all day. Too many bugs.
Mary-Beth showed up late due to traffic so the meeting started adound 2:30 instead of 2. About 30 people showed up. Representives from The Circle,House Von Draken,POTLC,Head Clan,The Lost Boys,College Park,Red Band, and Galatia (me) were there.
King Todd and Sir Greycloak anounced that Crown Wars would be fought on Sept. 22. Location to be settled later. They can't decide wether to have it at Paiges farm (Todd's choice) or a farm in Delaware(Greycloak's choice).Greycloak wants to have archer and rec battles, as well as normal battles. Todd wants to incorperate pass battles.
A debate on wether Queen Jill could hold an office and still remain Queen took up most of the time of the meeting. Untill a definite answer could be given she will be acting as (insert offical name for secertary here).
Queen Jill was the only new office holder, everybody else just kept their positions. Greycloak is looking for a rec member to replace him as head of rec guild.
Mary-Beth recruited for the garb making guild.
Future events were added to the official calander. I mentioned that Flaming Midgit would be in Oct or Nov, but they need an exact date to put in newsletter.
Markland annual was handed out.Anybody wishing to read it can come over and see my copy. You will be mailed one soon.
It was decided that there was going to be 3 lists of members to be kept.
Active / Non-active for less than 5 years / non-active for over 5 years
The Goddess of Woop-ass will be keeping the first 2 accounts and King Todd will keep the last account on file somewhere.
Most people left after the meeting
The only "class" given that day was a demo by Spothead on woad (sp?)
dying.
Kelly was very ill and had to go home early.
