Leave Date

Okay, they are trying to make me go in June so I need to know if there are any events from like June 19th to July 3rd. If not I think I am just going to save my leave fro a better time. I really hate coming home and spending all day waiting for other people to get off work. It sucks.

It worked well that one leave that Loki broke his leg and was home the entire time. That was a good leave. Loki, break your leg again, or was it a twisted knee, ah just do both.

Yuck. That time sucks. All I see on the calendar is Challenge of the Heart, which is so-so. Your too late Highland River Melees and too early for Storvik Novice and Southern Regionals.

Well, here is the update. I told them I did not want to take leave if it was not at least in July, and I told them this way back in November. My 1SG is trying to tell me I lack army values and that I am being selfish because I did not want to go on leave if that was the case.

So basically, I have gone all or nothing for July and we will see how it plays out. One immediate side effect, they are pulling me off the MiTT mission, because at 24 years old, I still need adult supervision.

aww' just take a towel and wipe the moisture from behind your ears and maybe they'll let you join in with the adult swim. And tell your 1st sgt that what you lack in army values you make up for in Galatian, which is far more valuable and harder.(ha ha)

Update: Okay, I got taken out of June for the date I am going, and put back onto standby for July once again. I am just on stand by so if there is no slot, I do not go. That is really all I can do at this point, so I put a huge effort towards it and pissed a few people off, but hopefully it is worth it.
