How's your painting going? I know there was some talk of not buying new without painting the old up, but . . .
26 Clanrats at table standard
40 Various models close to table standard
1 Doomwheel close to complete (wheels won't stay on :( )

Your Warp Lightning Cannons have zzapped the urge to paint my High Elves without any reinforcement.
But I do have about 12 Swordmasters almost finished and 6 Troll Slayers almost finished.

Yeah, mine was fine, then one day it was all broken and busted . . . weird right?
Also, It wasn't the cannons that broke you, it was the slaves and Dooooooooooomrockets. Don't worry, those same same slaves held up Clayson' s Slayers for the entire game last night. Ha!

Hmmm, what do you think about converting it into a Verminlord. I wonder how tall it is. GW models keep getting bigger and bigger.

For Serban (mostly):
I'm sure you've found this site by now, but I saw these guys and just had to post.

So, I have set up a deal to get another unit of Swordmasters. With two units, I think I might stand a good chance to take out the Ogrestar circling the planet of Serbor.

It's coming in the form of a zepplin . . . and I have thought about ways to make it transform.

Hey Serban,
Where did you get those base magnets? GF9 only seems to have the pre atteched to bases.

I used the heavy duty magnetic base as the material.

No, i got the precut ones for the size of my ogres base. But when you get them, you get to pick what material you want them made of. i was saying I used the heavy duty magnet as the material.

New Gold:
So I use Shining Gold to make bronze, and now I want to incorporate a gold into my models. However, I wanted to steer away from Shining Gold, so I made a mix of Snakebite Leather and Mitheral Silver. This mix makes a lightly saturated dull gold that I'm really liking. I do wonder what it will look like washed though. Since the color is so light I expect it to really pick up the color of the washes.
