[." Another message on a pink placard read, "Join the Marines. Travel to Exotic Lands. Meet Exciting and Unusual People -- And Kill Them."

i thought this was a protest agenst the marines. this is a recuting slogan. hell i even have a t-shirt and a bumper sticker with this on it. its one of the best slogan. now putting it on a pink makes me mad. it would be better if it was on a white card and maybe a stick figure with a bullet hole in his head and red splatter on the wall.

OHHH! and under that we can put "What do you feel when you kill Exciting and Unusual People---RECOIL."
and under that "carpenters hammer nails, Plumbers fix pipes, MARINES KILL PEOPLE"
and under that "My freedom was fought for by one of those DUM military people"
and under that "If freedom wasn't Costly everyone would have it, don't worry the Marines will pay are share"
and under that "Marines DIE, so you don't have to"

I got 1 last saying for those fuckers
"Patriotic Dissent Is A Luxury Of Those Protected BY BETTER MEN THEN THEY"

Patriotic dissent is standing up against overwhelming forces or public opinion to do what is morally right. In my mind this would include someone like Martin Luther King or those killed in the Boston Massacre, not these spoiled ivy league fanatics, who are just going with the flow really. Patriotic dissent by its very definition is done when you are not protected. It is a principled stand taken for a just cause against long odds, which can easily result in personal harm. Just ask the founders.
