Okay, to sum it up, I own pretty much nothing here in Iraq at this time. I have a uniform and some socks and that is about it.

On my way back from Husseniyah to my Unit's main FOB, the truck carrying my gear got struck by an IED and caught fire. Do not worry, there were some minor injuries but no one got seriously hurt, just a few burns.

But basically, most of my uniforms, boots, foodstuffs, blanket, sheets, and pillows, all got destroyed. All my military gear, minus what I was wearing and a few loose ends at my old can, are just gone.

What I miss the most is my DVD collection, which was 400 discs strong is now reduced to the three I got in the mail today. No more Battlestar Galatica, no more Star Wars, no more Stargate: SG-1 and Atlantis, no more Scrubs, no more Rescue Me, all just gone.

I managed to save my I-Pod, camera, Computer, and PSP because I put them in the truck I was riding in, but other than that, it is all gone.

Okay, I have figured out one thing that I really need that I can not get out here...a Mach 3 Power Razor. All I have right now are Disposable Pink Ladies Razors, and for anyone his has shaved with a Mach 3 Power would now this. Shaving with a Pink Ladies Razor is like shaving with a dull piece of slate rock. Very, very painful. Talk it out, but one of these would be greatly appreciated seeing as they do not sell anything but pink face death here at the PX.

But seriously I'm glad your ok, and thank god you had 400 dvd's they may have saved someone's life from the explosion, in the corps we always used sandbags but appaerntly dvd's work just as well.

Please post a wish list of things you would like replaced on this thread. Then anyone intending to buy that item can post what they bought. That way we can replace some of the items and avoid duplication of effort. I'm very grateful for your service and would be glad to do my part. We just need the effort organized in some way. If for some reason Galatia can't handle the load by themselves, I'm sure our Markland friends would also be proud to help out. Give us a list of what you need.

These are pretty much the only things that I really need, or want, that I can not get here:

Redhead with Big Tits
Mach 3 Power Razor
Gel Shaving Cream (they do not even have shaving cream in the PX, Can you believe that)
Old Spice Body Wash (I am allergic to alot of soaps and this one I found I am not, and obviously, they do not sell it over here.)
Drink mix ( the little individual packets things that make like a bottle of water into some flavor, the army gives us Orange and Peach Tea, that is it. Gets old quick.)

Everything else I will probably replace slowly over time. Back up to 3 DVDs!

I've got the "redhead with big tits" covered, but I don't think I can afford the shipping... (woah, that was Big Tits, capitalized)

I'm still mindboggled by the idea that you were lugging 400 DVDs around Iraq. I only own about 30!

I got everything on your list except the red head with BIG TITS (lilkender said that she has that covered). It is boxed up and ready to go. Is the address under "Lounge" and "Iraq address" still the current one? Just let me know and the package is in the mail.

Yeah, it is the same address. It never changes, just where they actually ship it to once it gets to that address and the army handles that. One time they sen my mail to Fallujah and I was pretty much in Karbala on the otherside of the country. Go figure.

As for movies, I like sci-fi, fantasy, action, military, historical. You know, all the guy movies, and anything with a redhead with Big Tits.
