Adon says y'all are invited, I am planning to go:

Fourth of July at Adon’s
Once again we are throwing the 4th party at my house. There will be lots of
food, fun, and games. We provide a basic variety of sodas, hamburgers, hotdogs, snacks and a large fireworks display. We also have several slushy machines which we fill with tasty adult beverages, and a drink or two for the kiddies. This is a family friendly event. Your pets are welcome as long as they get along with other animals/people, and you keep an eye on your pets.

Fighters,
There will be SCA, and Dagorhir combat all day. ( or when we are ready). I have cleared out a section of the property to have woods battles. So bring your SCA and Dag weapons/gear.

Non-Fighters
There is a pool w/slide, hot-tub, and volleyball.

In general if you have been here for the 4th before, you know what a good time it is. If you have not been here before, you should come. If you would like to attend, we ask that you bring your own adult beverages (
beer, liquor…) and a covered dish ( for 7 or more) to put on the food table.
Please bring your own lawn chairs as well. Please contact me if you plan to attend, and how many people are coming with you. I don’t mind if you bring your family and a few close friends, but don’t bring a friend of a friend of a friend…. It has been a problem in the past.

If it is a long drive and you want to stay the night, bring a tent or sleeping
stuffs.

Okay, I am just curious. What exactly is everyone's plans for the 4th of July. I know Ahrimen and Theresa are going to be in NC and nugget said something, but what about everyone else?

Not a clue. Steph and I typically head down to the Naval Academy to watch the fireworks and parade there. I'll talk to her today and find out if she's set on any particular thing.

I usually head to Ocean city with my dad. But, he might not be going this year. Plus, we'd rather see you. I love the beach so kevin a I were going to go sometime soon. We could make it a weekend trip before you leave..... But no plans yet that Va thing sounds fun w/ pool and hot tub.

I was waiting for you big boy. I turned down a trip to Kennywood for you. That all sounds FAB-U-LOUS!

I am going to Kennywood. But will be happy to hang out Monday, Tuesday, Saturday (after the althing)

Steph and I are up for whatever. She says most of her friends are probably working anyway.

Okay, I am a go for this. Car pool, leave times? Remember, traffic is going to be pretty badin DC so factor that in. Yahoo Maps said it was just 1hr 20 mikes from my house, so it is not that far.

Also, I am going to need someone to get a lorica from Dan or Chris's house that I can borrow that day. I will also need weapons. Jeff, Tabard?!? I have the money to pay if your mom finished it.

Bring a dish for the bbq if you can. Potato salad or macaroni salad are always nice and available by the tub in the grocery store. I'm taking a loverly fruit salad, in a cooler, and some drinks.

Sounds good. Carpool is a good idea. Kevin may want to drive he loves his truck. Plus gear can fit in the back
