Celtic Fire 8
May 2-4
Baronage Farm, 311 Black Stallion Road, Townsend, DE 19734
Site Fee: Between $5 and $7

Come one come all, to Celtic Fire 8. The site is a new one, so expect the unexpected. Baronage Farms is a family farm just up the road from Blackbird State Forest, and we mean just up the road 2 miles from the entrance of the forest. This central site should draw Marklanders from every corner of the known world. So why not just hold the event at Blackbird you ask? No poison ivy. As this is someone’s home, they take great measures to keep the site poison ivy free.

We will be making use of three fields: One for parking near the front of the house; one for fire pits and Castle Battles; and one for Field Battles and brazier fires. There is also a viewing booth on the list so cameras can be close to the action when fighting and later it can be used for any ceremonies you all may have in mind. The site is somewhat “L” shaped, but otherwise very much like some of the other farm sites we use.

Scenarios will be in the typical Galatian fashion; Lots of resurrection battles and lots of scenarios that will require you to communicate with those around you. Fast paced action until everyone is begging uncle. Also likely is another Pennsic War Practice, Markland Army versus Atlantia scheduled for Sunday.

Site map and scenarios to come soon. Please put this event on your calendar.

i love the huts! always a good fight. as for some new ones? hmmmm.?

how about a elves Vs dwarves,

rules (just an idea)
1 all the guys with plate armor and/or crossbows on 1 side all archers and guys with hockey gear on the other.
2 dwarves (heavy Armor) must be on knees
3 dwarven plate is proof elf helms are not
4 dwarves should get throwing axes (i will have to make them) elves cannot throw them back
5 dwarves will have a relic that they must get from point a topoint b if they do they win if the elves kill them all they win.

we dont have to do this i wont be offended if yall dont like it its just off the top of my head

I'm pretty much in siege mode until May. Besides Missy's party of Saturday I really can't take time out to do anything but work work work. God damned thesis.

Good Day, All.

Which weekend are you talking about for the work project at the farm? I can't make it this weekend 19 & 20 , TOC and war practice. But I am free the following weekend 26 & 27.

Sincerely

Thomas

The 26 or 27. I still need to clear it with the site owners, but I figured I should find out what day was best for us. Thomas, is the war practice at the TOC or Plimmet Park, do you know?

As posted to the Storvik list, Sir Guy says:
The Great Northern Arrmy of Darkness will be conducting a War Muster
the day after TOC.

They will be at the same site as TOC and start at 1100.

We will initially go over movmenet (something inovative, not just
marching around) and some other training in order to improve out
performance at Pennsic.

Duke Badouin, Legatus Legionis and Commander of the Atlantian
Northern Army will be addressing the troops.

Archers are welcome as always in our Grand Armiee.

OK, Doug and Chris have been working on team "Get Firewood".

Can I get anyone to volenteer to be on team "Site Token"? If we can incorporate CF, or 8, that would be awesome!

Clayson and I plan to camp all weekend. We are leaving at 11:00am Friday. If you want to convoy. I also believe Kevin and Serban and Missy will be camping Fri. Doug and Chris Sat. Thomas and others as work allows.
