Thanks for your kind words in regards to my Verminlord WIP. Are you interested in the same sort of updates as I paint him? Should I spin this posts off into a Work In Progress thread?
Also, as the Tale of the Four Gamers wanes, is it worth thinking about a new saga? Maybe the Rise of the Malboro Brettonian? Thoughts?

My estimate of having my starter set done by the time you lads get back from pensic will not happen. I can't beleive the amount of detail on these bloody knights. Even with my glasses and mag light my eyes get tired after about two hours and I have to stop. (I hate being old, nothing works as well as it use too) I did purchase a bunch of new models. Not sure how long it will take to get them all painted, but it will be a while. Maybe by the new year, I'll be ready to play.

Ugh I hope you did not buy any of the citadle finecast seires, super expencive ultra detailed indivigual models, $35 over here for one orc LOL!! cause if you did it might not be your eyes!!

I have not forgotten about you. We can still get a game in soon, unfortunately, it probably won't be before I leave for Pennsic. And don't worry about whether your army is painted or not, unpainted models play better anyway. I myself am fighting the urge to spray the vermin lord, because once I do, all I'll want to do is paint.
BTW, if you are really having difficulty "seeing" let me recommend:

This creates high contrast. However, I do not recommend black, I think black is too strong of a color. I would recommend a very, very dark base color.
