Iran frees 15 British Sailors!
Okay first off, YEAH. I am glad to hear that is over, but did anyone else notice that in 2004 Iran held 8 British Sailors for 3 days because the were in Iran waters. Wouldn't you think the British would learn?
I know what you might be saying; the British claimed they were not in Iran waters. But Iran had satellite proof that they were.
Anywho, good to hear that this resolved peacefully.

Iran probably does not have satelites of their own, but they most certainly have access to some and yes they supposedly had proof. So did the British. We'll never really know who was right, but it honestly really doesn't matter anymore. Iran got as much publicity as they could out of this and came out looking somewhat reasonable. I can't help but wonder what the hell they're up to. I can guarantee you this improved their standing in the Middle East and probably some other parts of the world.

Fuck them. They supply alot of the insurgents over here. Shit, they have even gone as far as to perform attacks against us, just not officially. Wish I could say more on that, but can't.
As far as the sailors, how are you going to let yourself get captured? Not even fight back, they had 8 marines with them. They should of at least fought back. They were in Iraqi waters, the issue with that is the border between Iranian and Iraq waters has been contested for a hundred years, or something like that. The Iranians say it is further south than it actually is. So according to Iraq, and most of the civilized world, they were in Iraqi Waters, and to Iran, Iranian waters. But back to the sailors, they were apparently going to board a commercial vessel that was in Iraqi waters, so I know the Marines were armed. I do not know about you, but I would fight back.
The Iranians orginally reported the position that they were caught to be further south than were they are saying now. They then changed it to be further north and then in their waters.
But onto camels, we have had MSRs get blocked by camel heards, fucking camels. I am talking about 75 to a hundred camels just walking up the main road. You know what is worse than a camel? An albino camel, they are really creepy, just stare at you. They could spit at anytime.

The british that I worked with overseas where a little on the unusual side as far as conflict. Not to say there pacifist but without direct orders they would take a piss. but I digress, I HATE CAMELS!!!! they are some of the smelliest foulest animals known to man. There shit is foul and your right they'll spit on you without warning, ad lets not talk about how that smells.
Scutt I feel for you, and as much as I love animals and hate people kick a camel for me if you get a chance. And while this isn't very pc... shoot first and get your ass home in one piece.

The Islamic Republic of Iran
Keep in mind gentleman that the Iranians have been at war with us since 1979. We stalled the Iranian Islamic Revolution by sponsoring a proxy war between Iran and Iraq. As far as I'm concerned, we got our money's worth out of Sadam. Ahmidinijad was directly involved in the assault on the American Embassy and the subsequent hostage crisis. He is an old dog practicing old tricks. He uses abductions to publicize his adgenda and generate good publicity for himself in his state controlled media.

It kinda makes me sad to see the road that Iran has gone down. 1979 did not have to happen. There were more peaceful attempts to change Iran, yet because of western (mainly British) oil interests, those attempts were squashed. I would suggest the following book if any of you are interested: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/081563 ... 45-9718453
