Serban, your looking at getting a bar put in? How big you talking? I could be sure to take some pictures next time I'm out on the town... There are some EPIC bars here in Perth! My favorite is more rustic looking ones, like a massive hardwood plank that has had its top polished smooth.

Thanks Jeff. And yes, i'm working on a bar now. It's about 6 foot wide. Not very big as I don't have a lot of space. But I needed to stake claim on at least a portion of that basement before the kids take it all ;)
I had some nice bloodwood planks lying around so i'm using that for the bartop. Jeff has been giving me ideas on what i can do with it. I've already started construction. The frame is done and I'm now doing the top. I'll post a picture once I get home with the progress.
