I may be talking out of my butt here, but I thought Tu was singular "you" and Vos was plural like "They". I'm not sure why we used the Te conjegation of Tu, other than to say that if it was just Odiomus we would hate everything including ourselves, and we don't want to hate ourselves, we want to hate everyone else, so it is not we but you we hate, or more appropriately, "you to be hating", for not being we.

The pronouns are used differently depending on teh context. In English, you is used as you, in all situations. In Romanian, depending on what context it is used in it changes what you write.

example.:

Tu esti mare. (You are big).
Eu Te urasc (I you hate).
Eu vin cu tine. ( I come with you)

Yes, Tu is singular "you" and Vos is plural, "you all". My argument was that on the above list I think it would have been more appropriate to say "we hate THEM", not "you", because as I understood it you were talking to me, and I didn't think you meant to say you hated me.

"Tu" is used when "you" is the subject of the sentence (nominative case). "Te" is the direct object (accusative case). Like "he" and "him".

You to be hating? That doesn't make much sense in english to me..It almost sounds like you was put in a queue waiting for the hating to commence.

Thanks, Titus. Photography was put on hold for waterbearing, but waterbearing gets more immediate appreciation...
