Steph's Recital (and Chris' Birthday)
Hello everyone, it's Steph not Fritz. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am giving a recital with one of my friends in Delaware. Both of us will play some solo stuff and then a duet. We are playing some pretty amazing music.
It is on May 10 at 5:30 on the Delaware Campus in Bayard Sharp.
Also, the next day is Chris' (or Fritz's if you prefer) birthday.
If you guys could stay after, or come later if you can't make the recital, to celebrate his birthday that would be great. The recital should be over around 7 and there will be a reception after. It should be okay for the kids. If they can't sit through the whole thing there is a little area right outside the hall and there is some room outside of the building for them to play.
It should take about an hour to an hour and half to get here. I would get there a little early to get good seats, and it will start on time! This something to be on time for!(*Fritz edit*, if you guys want to come you absolutely can not be late. No excuses for Galatian time. Musicians consider it extremely rude to enter late, if they let you in at all as it invariably makes noise that distracts from the music.)
To get here take 95N to exit 109b, the sign will say Newark DE ( it is the last exit in Maryland). You will just keep going done the road the exit spits you out on ( Elkton Rd.). That road will turn into Delaware Ave. ( you will see Bayard Sharp on your left, but keep going there is no parking). Follow Delaware Ave. until South College ave. It is a huge intersection. Turn left at that light and stay ion the left lane. At the next light turn left again ( on to main street). You should park in the Trabant parking garage, a third lane will show up on your left, that will take you into the garage. It will be on your left, if you end up back on Elkton you missed it. When you walk out of the garage go towards the Delaware Ave. Signs. When you get to the main road ( Delaware Ave) turn left. Bayard Sharp will be on left side of the road. it is a old white church.
If you want to park for free, come absolutely no later then 5:00 (earlier is better) and meet Fritz at our apartment. Take the same exit of of 95 north, turn left at the second light after the Applebee's (Thorn Lane). Our building is in the second parking lot entrance on the right. It is building 61 apt. 11. You will probably have to call him to let you up. If you guys have any questions for me my number is 410-353-6651. I hope all of you can come!

That is an excellent question. Steph's wearing a dress, but the performers are almost always more formal in their attire than their audience. I'll ask her.

Re: Steph's Recital (and Chris' Birthday)
Just wanted to get a quick headcount for this weekend. I know Brian and Serban are definitely coming and I was under the impression that Jeff, Missy, Doug, Amanda, and James were as well but just can't remember for sure. Am I missing anyone?
*edit* Jeff, Missy, Amanda, James, Doug and Serban are confirmed and Brian and Kevin are big maybes.
