Good news is all the fighting is in the shade. This is a good site.

Martial Activities: Heavy combat: 10 AM to noon (only): Authorizations. 11 noon to 1 PM: 14th cent. Round Robin Tourney with counted blows. see special rules for heavy armor. Final fight of tourney shall be a showcase fight with full pomp and heraldry. 1 PM til 4 PM: Melee, melee and still more melee with pass battles, Warlord resurrection battles, field battles, and a 'Lost Boys" style battle. Melees based loosely on battles from the time period are planned. Weapon styles may be limited for some scenarios! Sir Tascius will act as Marshal in Charge for all heavy combat.

- $8.00 Day-Trip

Adult, Non-Member:
- $11.00 Day-Trip
  $8.00 Feast
  $0.00 Camping
Child (6-17):
- $4.00 Day-Trip
  $4.00 Feast

Cough, Mongo you may want to add the above addy to your Locations post. Also while your at it you may want to look at the 2008 Events, 2007 events, ...etc posts, you can find gems like Baronage Farm, 311 Black Stallion Road, Townsend, DE 19734 . Just a thought.

Due to the outcry of those that love to melee, I have been assured that melee will start at 11:30 (not 1:00pm). Please thank Jos when you get there.

Tasc has agreed to allow Jos and I to run a melee starting at 11:30. There was to be some tourney thing, but we interceded to make sure there will be melee at Highland River "melee".

We could use you guys to fight becuase I may not be able to advertise the early melee time to everyone. Morg, Bill, how do I get the message over to Angelsee to let them know melee starts promptly at 11:30?
