FD said that it was most likely started by someone flicking a cigarette out their window, and the high winds carried the embers through the yard. Next time I see someone doing that, I'm going to make them eat the butt. It also carried into my neighbors yard. It looked worse last night, the winds have blown away a lot of the char.
I thought it might have been arson, but as I was stomping it out, I watched it run from the middle of the clothesline to the end of the clothesline in one gust. Scary crazy.
