EKSRWP fighting will probably start close to 12:00pm, as they will have authorizations in the morning. However, none of us can auth, except maybe Mike and Joe. The Atlantian one will be earlier, since it is on a Sunday, Pick-ups start at 10:00am, Melees at 11:00am.

Legion War/ Oktoberfest Oct.12-14
American Legion Hall in Hatfield PA 19440
Markland
Cost: FREE!!!!!!
In conjunction with the American Legion we will be holding a medieval faire for 2 days for the public. We will be having a variety of public demonstrations where everyone young and old can interact and learn something new. There will be dance, cooking, archery, bead making , whip, and fighting demos. There will also be kids crafts, , an information booth, garb museum, period tents, and armor displays.
We will be trying to get the crowd to participate in a few things such as the dance demo and the ever popular "whack-a-knight".
On top of all that we will be having lots of merchants to shop from and various food vendors.
We also will be holding a brewing competition, so if any of you out there have something ready to be judged, feel free to enter it into the contest.
They will be judged by catagory: beers, wines, cordials. meads.
The Legion was especially interested in this, so lets see how many of you can enter something!
For the cooking demo we will be roasting a pig. So for Saturday night there will be a small feast for a small fee to cover the cost of the pig. Price is yet to be determined.
There will also be a large fighter demo, so please feel free to come out and fight your best for the crowds. Some old scenarios from the BYOS wars will be returning plus a few new ones as well.
Camping is encouraged, and since this is a two day event (similar to what West Windsor is), the Legion Hall will be cooking us breakfast on Sunday morning!
Campfires are allowed, provided we cover them up when we're done. And being as it is being held at a American Legion hall, there is a bar on site. However, all alcohol is to be drank inside the hall and not taken outside at all. This is per local laws.
There are also a few eating establishments nearby if you'd rather eat out, such as a Appleby's, McDonalds, etc.
Directions:
1. Make your best way to the NorthEast Extension of the PA Turnpike.
2. Get off at the Lansdale exit.
3. Make a LEFT onto Rt 63/ Sumneytown Pike after the toll booth for about 1/4 mile.
4. Turn LEFT onto Forty Foot Rd. Go about 3-4 miles.
5. Turn RIGHT onto Koffel Rd. Go about 1 mile.
6. The site should be on your RIGHT. Parking will be in the rear of the site.
2100 Koffel Rd. Hatfield PA 19440
