What is Celtic Fire? My household, Blackspear, could be for hire.... need any mercenaries?

I would also like to invite you to Storviks Investiture. Sean and Elizabeth will be stepping down. Their last court will be at 10:00. I realize you guys normally only show up for melee, but if you'd like good food and to stand for Sean and Elizabeth, then we'd love to have you.

I'm told there may be a bear pit tourney weather permitting. I'm also told that is not certain. I'm brining my armour just in case!

Celtic Fire is our event. There is a lot of fighting, bauble betting, Saber Tourney competing, Drinking, and Viking Footballing. There is likely even going to be a celtic casino. No need for merc, no need for any formalities either.

I assume the investure is an indoors thing mostly. I will ask around, it may be hard for me to make it as it is my dad's birthday.

Storvik Investiture will be an indoor event. However, weather and ground permitting, there will be space for a bear pit outside. As Sean is the principle of my household, we had planned to make some noise or make a formation to escort h im out of the the session.

Should be fun!

From the Atlantian list:

Northern Regional War Practice Sunday April 15

Greetings to all stalwart fighters of Atlantia's sylvan northern
region. Our next regional war practice will be on Sunday April 15th in
the fair barony of Ponte-Alto. The Honorable Lord Ragnar Ribcracker
will be leading the scenarios.

The simple plan for the day is melee, melee, melee.

Noon - 1pm: Single bouts to warm up
1pm - 4pm: Various melee scenarios including bridge, field, and
resurrection

Alas, this site does not allow for combat archery- but there is
another war practice on May 6th (within the Barony of Storvik) that
will allow the skies to be blackened with their swarms.

Location and Directions:
Practice is behind the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library 7584 Leesburg
Pike, Falls Church. Take your best route to I-495. Get off at the exit
for Route 7 East (Falls Church). The library is on the left about 1
mile. Park in the library lot and go down the hill to the park.

I got a written invitation to King's Tax. It also looks like the fighting is free, but don't hold me on that. Maybe we should mount a force.
