Hastings

Dear Members of Galatia,

The Maryland Medieval Mercenary Militia cordially invites you to the 37th reenactment of the Battle of Hastings. We are very proud to bring Hastings back to the birthplace of Markland for the first time in more than a decade. It will be held on Sunday, October 29th from 9-2:30 at Frat Row on the University of Maryland campus. If you are a rec fighter we would love to have you participate in the battle. If you just want to come as a spectator you are also welcome to come and watch. If you want to set up an educational display that would be great as well. It is free for spectators and participants alike. We really want to make this event a success in the hope that the University of Maryland will allow us to do it even bigger and better next year. Directions can be found on the Markland forum or I can email them to you if you like. If you can, please let us know if you plan to attend so that we can get an idea of how many people to expect.
