Pakistan sentenced the doctor that helped us locate Bin Laden to prison for high treason. Yet another reason why we should get out of there and stop paying them money that they don't deserve.

We are not? If that's true, then great! But why do you say that? Did we suspend our normal aid that we've been giving them yearly?

I just read this today. Senate panel just voted to stop aid to pakistan if they don't play ball. But this is not yet law, and since it's meant as a warning, if they let use their routes to reinfornce our troops again, this sounds like they will pay them.

The Obama administration had unilaterally withheld military aid last I heard and I had not heard it had been resumed. The Obama administration was close to issuing and apology for the cross-border incident that caused all this, but after the last Kabul attack they pretty much said "oh fuck no" to apologizing for anything.

Good to hear that. If they won't play ball with us, we shouldn't give them money. Afterall, we do anough by providing security for them by just being there.
